This Model replaced the previous LG. Installation was easy because the mounting hardware was the same. Only 2 negatives. The touchscreen is difficult to see and there is no timer on this model.

Aesthetic appearance and working well.

I am for the most part satisfied and pleased with the purchase of the LG microwave. However there are two features that are not satisfactory. The touchpad is difficult to do see and the newest model does not have a kitchen timer built into the touchpad which was very handy when cooking and timing meals.

Overall happy with my selection. Only 2 things that I have an issue. First it has no kitchen timer. And the second is that the touchpad is difficult to see. Other than those 2 I am well pleased. The other feature is that the previous mounting hardware was compatible which made the installation streamlined.

Wakes up the whole house

Door closing opening is very loud but even worse is the piercing beeping that you cannot disable or change volume on. If you are busy and cannot get to the microwave after the timer finishes it continues beeping forever. Extremely irritating and TERRIBLE design.

Functional but door closure problem

I bought this LG over the range microwave because if the high rating. The functions are okay. The door closes awkwardly and makes a lot noise opening and closing. The door and function screen appear visually to be off center.

Very Disappointed in LG

I typically love LG products. However I am highly disappointed with my microwave. I have had it a few years now and my two big issues are 1 the ventilation fan is HORRIBLE. It doesnt suck up any of the steam fumes etc. Ive literally watched the steam not be disturbed at all once the fan was turned on. My handle broke off. Initially it was a small piece that fell off. But today I went to pull upon the door and the entire thing fell off with multiple little pieces of broken plastic spilling out onto my stove.

Bottom of the door handle broke

I bought this over a year ago and was happy that it matched my other LG stainless steel appliances. I liked the door handle and I liked how easy it was to add time with the +30 seconds button. I wish the clock backlight color was the same as the stove instead of the green.
