We love this refrigerator! Food and drinks stay so fresh in this unit that it has cut our food waste down significantly. My husband and I call it the "miracle refrigerator" because food never seems to go bad in it. We even joke that we are going to move into it so we will stay young forever. The interior is roomy and well laid out, and the black interior is chic! In addition, it is quite- we never hear any noise from it when the door is closed. We are very happy with this product!

This is my first french door refrigerator, with past fridges being side-by-side. There is plenty of refrigeration space on this unit for large items like pizza boxes and watermelons, which our side-by-side fridges were poorly suited for. The glass and shelves are supported by sturdy all metal brackets. The metal door racks are roomy enough to hold milk containers, wine, and soda bottles. Again, all metal parts, no flimsy plastic shelves that easily broke in our previous fridges and cost a fortune to replace.
The fridge has plenty of lighting dispersed around the walls, instead of a single top light easily blocked. But, I'm not crazy about the black interior walls of this fridge. I wish the walls were standard white since the black color makes it hard to see food spills.
The large upper refrigeration section results in a smaller freezer section. The pull out drawer is a bit shallow and is easily filled up, causing the drawer to not close until the food items are packed down. But like us, if you have a separate freezer in the garage or basement, you may not need a large freezer drawer in the frig.
This unit is very, very quite. I can not easily tell when it is running as there is almost no sound coming from the compressor.
Overall, this is a the best refrigerator I've every owned. Very sturdy construction, quite, and roomy upper section.

We recently remodeled and bought this refrigerator even though it was out of our price range. My wife really wanted a built in and I didn't care. I must say that it was the best decision. The fridge has been hassle free and really blends into the kitchen because we opted to put our cabinet faces on it. I can tell you that a built in feels more sturdy than a regular free standing fridge. This is something you are going to use all the time. Listen to my wife and get it.

We just had our custom home built, and the Jenn Air appliances make the kitchen look great! We had an issue with the fans in our double convection oven, which was dealt with promptly and now it works and looks great.

We've owned this unit about 2 months so far. Love the look of when you open the door with the dark interior and bright LED lights. Very Sharp. The depth of the refrigerator is nice in that you don't have to "dig" to the rear of it.

We purchased this refrigerator through our builder for full retail price via a local appliance dealer. It took 3 weeks and and 3 service calls to receive a fully functioning appliance after installation. The ice maker did not work upon date of installation. There were two faulty parts in the ice maker which were diagnosed one at a time with no urgency. This was considered warranty service with no priority given for service appointments. Both the builder and we attempted to point out that the issue was fulfillment of a sales contract, and not a warranty issue to no avail.

Bought a new house and went from a 48 inch built-in Side by Side to this 42 inch built-in French Door. I assumed we would be losing a lot of space, but not really. Keeps itmems cold and does it's job. Seems to be easier to keep clean too.

I just love to look inside! Lighting and black background shows food colors well. Everyone that opens our refrigerator is amazed at how beautiful it is (funny to say about a refrigerator)! I can see everything without digging to the back. I would reccommend this to all.

it's a great fridge. still getting used to the obsidian interior which depending on the light shows lots of dust. My main issue with it is that you actually can not open the drawers without opening both doors.

I purchased this a few months ago for a house I have been renovating over the last 3 years. Now that I have finally moved in I have entertained friends and family on multiple occasions. We installed this product and in these first few months it has performed perfectly. It's handsome inside and out, it's quiet, it has tons of room in both fridge and freezer, and the ice maker produces lovely ice quickly without allowing cubes to stick together in the drawer. Make certain your installer has previously put a Jenn Air product in place as the product ventilation depends on properly placing it in its opening. The installers provided by our dealer didn't have a clue and we had to have a second visit by others to properly place the unit. Once that problem was fixed, we were in business and we love this product.

We wanted a built in without the expense of the other brand names which fit the dimension requirements of a 42" French Door. We are happy that we went with Jenn-Air and not the other options out there...It is gorgeous inside and out. It fits in beautifully with our cabinetry and our food is happy, too!

We have had this refrigerator for several months and it is working fine. However, this is a replacement for one that stopped cooling after three months and could not be repaired ( after five visits and two ordered parts ). There is something about the stainless steel finish that makes it VERY difficult to clean. Drawer layout, with french doors requires you open both doors to open drawers, which is annoying. Two previous built in refrigerators, different manufacturers, lasted 8 years and 9 respectively, so none of them are well made or at least made to last. I would not recommend Jenn-Air
