I love the cooktop. Looks great! Unfortunately after a couple of months it quit working due to a faulty wire. I like to add that the technicians came the next day to fix it!! Great service !!!

I purchased a Jenn-Air five-burner cooktop with downdraft in September, 2017. The product shipped at the end of October and I have been using it for about a week. The cooktop is a work of art in my kitchen with it's sleek black, uncluttered top and modern downdraft insert! It is easy to use by simply pressing the digital burner buttons to turn the unit on/off and to set the burner temperatures. A medium-size pot of water comes to a rolling boil in about 7 minutes. Cleaning the cooktop is a snap, using the recommended cleaner and scraper (not provided with the cooktop, I had to purchase these items separately). Two things that are slightly annoying: 1) the burner buttons can be slightly non-responsive to turn on and set the temperature (sometimes requiring 2-3 presses) and 2) when I spray the cooktop cleaner on the surface the unit beeps incessantly when it detects the moisture being applied. I would definitely recommend this unit!

Love the smooth top with no knobs for cleaning. However, every time I swipe to clean it is very sensitive and beeps easily and wont allow me to try to stop it until I turn on and off etc. One time I got F1 and E1 signal and had to go to breaker to reset it. Hope that isnt going to be a regular occurance.

It is a cooktop, so I use it for preparing dishes that need a heat source for cooking.
